Wag Calendar Dogs 2021 : Meet Indi, Mr March ♥️

I’m Indi, I’m 9 years old, I’m a ‘Goldador’ (that’s a Golden Retriever-Labrador cross) and I live in Blyth.

I joined Wag in August last year, and I visit Blyth Community Hospital, and my friend Margaret in Ponteland, with my mum – also Margaret (she says that keeps things simple!).

I became a Wag Friendship Dog when my mum retired and wanted to do something useful, but something I could help with too rather than leave me at home.

I love being a Friendship Dog. I get to meet lots of people, they all smile when they see me even if they’re a bit poorly, I get lots of cuddles – and if we arrive at tea break they sometimes give me yummy treats!

I’ll be spending Christmas Day with my mum, grandma and grandad. I’ll have a nice long walk, then a nice short dinner (that’s in the job description when you’re a Labrador!), then a nice long nap. Santa has been kind to me in the past, and I have tried to be good this year, so maybe I’ll get some toys and treats and if that Boris chap allows it, I might even get to meet up with one or two more friends or family over the rest of the holidays; that would be lovely.
