Wag Calendar Dogs 2021 : Meet “Millie”, Miss September ♥️

I’m a 6yr old West Highland White Terrier, or Westie for short and I have a really fancy long name but I’m known as Millie. I live in Heworth, Gateshead with my Mam and Dad.

I’ve been a Wag dog since February 2019 and I visit two ladies in their own homes. Winnie in Newcastle, who likes me to lie on the sofa, which is an excellent place for me as you get tickles from all angles, and June who lives in Gateshead. I sit on June’s knee which is perfect for cuddles. Both ladies used to have their own dogs but sadly aren’t able to now.

I’m proud to have my red bandana and be a part of the Wag family. I like tickles and cuddles and my Mam likes to chat…and chat…..and chat, so it seemed a good mix and opportunity to volunteer as a visiting team.

I don’t just like my role I love it. I seem to have a talent for lounging while being tickled. I simply love the attention and Winnie and June always seem pleased to see me. I always look forward visiting them. It’s not just the visiting though, I enjoy taking part in fundraising and really enjoyed my Walk for Wag Anywhere.

I’m looking forward to the festive season and will be spending it at home. I have my paws crossed that I get a present, hopefully something to cuddle or eat but preferably both if I’m lucky!
