Visiting Wag Team Carolyn and Pippa visit Mrs Carole C in North Shields
Mrs C lives on her own after losing her husband over ten years ago. She has had lots of challenging health issues in the last year or so, including many hospital stays and visits, which have been difficult to manage, and they have really left their mark. She’s very close to her daughter and lives close by, too, but Mrs C is on her own during the day and feels really down and isolated. She absolutely loves dogs and misses her last dog, a Staffie X, very much, so Wag Friends are the perfect solution, and her daughter hopes they will be “just the massive boost that she needs”.
Enter Carolyn and her gorgeous little Lhasa Apso, Pippa, who started visiting Mrs C recently.
Mrs C adored Pippa from the moment they met. Pippa sits on her lap and goes to sleep while Mrs C and Carolyn have a chat. Carole’s daughter was present at the first visit and was delighted to see Mum so happy, saying: “It’s a weight off my mind that Mum will have lovely company on a Monday now and something to look forward to. It couldn’t be more perfect; these visits will make a massive difference; they really are the light at the end of the tunnel!”
Another very special Wag friendship making a difference not only to Mrs C but to her family too!
