Visiting Wag Team Louise and Bronte visit Mr Dave L in Gateshead

Dave and his wife live in their own home in Gateshead. Dave is deaf, he lip reads brilliantly though and until early in the year he had a much loved hearing dog, Connie the Bichon Frise, who never left his side.  She was a source of assistance, but also love and comfort and both Dave and his wife still miss her terribly.

It’s not possible for Dave and his wife to have another dog now for various health reasons and so Dave was referred to us by Gateshead NHS Trust who believe that Wag friends will bring both pleasure and comfort to Dave and his wife at what is already a difficult time.

Enter Bronte the beautiful Friendship Cockapoo, who started visiting in October. The referrer from Gateshead NHS told us how Bronte immediately took to Dave and settles happily on his knee.  Dave’s face lights up when they arrive and his wife loves to have time cuddling lovely Brontë too.
