Sue and Friendship Dog Barry visit Mr C in the Tees Valley

Mr C lost his wife not long ago and now he lives alone in his home near Redcar.  Even though his sons live close by, his house feels very empty, and he misses his wife terribly.

Mr C and his wife always had dogs, and as it’s not possible for him to have a dog of his own now, regular visits from Sue and her lovely boy, Barry the Labradoodle, are the next best thing.

Barry’s treats are always at the top of the shopping list and as you can see Barry loves a treat!

Barry has brought a wagging tail and a bit of doggy fun into Mr C’s life, and their special friendship is making the world of difference with Mr C’s son telling us how much his Dad loves their visits. It’s not just Barry and Mr C who enjoy their time together, Sue thoroughly enjoys chatting with Mr C too and when they bumped into his family in the local pub, his sons took a photograph of them all together to take home to their Dad.

Another very special Wag friendship in the making.
