Chloe and Friendship Dog Evelyn visit Mrs A in Durham

Mrs A is 81, she lives alone after sadly losing her husband on Christmas Day last year. They’d always had dogs throughout their lives, Labradors, Spaniels, Collies and a Staffy, and although Mrs A would love to have another dog, she couldn’t have one now. She has photos all over her home of all her dogs, and she told us she used to walk miles with them, so she really misses having a dog in her life.

As you can imagine, Mrs A was delighted to hear she would be having regular visits from little Evelyn with her ‘Mum’ Chloe. They started visiting in August this year and, as you can see, Evelyn quickly found her place on Mrs A’s lap for a cuddle!

Mrs A’s daughter tells us how much she enjoys her regular visits, and little Evelyn is the star of the show, of course!
