New Trustee and IT Director, Keira Hall

Keira Hall joins Wag & Company as its new IT Director and Trustee, bringing with her eight years of experience as a Solutions Architect at Waterstons, where she has worked extensively across mergers and acquisitions and built trusted relationships with organisations across the globe. Her work has taken her across different time zones, cultures, and technology landscapes, strengthening both her technical capability and her adaptability.

In 2022, Keira was named Insider Media North East’s Young Digital & Tech Professional of the Year, a recognition that holds particular significance for her as a woman in tech. Throughout her career, she has often been the only woman in the room, working hard to prove her expertise and find her voice in a male‑dominated industry. These experiences have shaped her resilience and deepened her commitment to authenticity, integrity, and creating opportunities for others. Keira strongly believes in staying true to yourself: “Be yourself – don’t change just because you’re expected to be a certain way. Showing emotion shows you’re human just like everyone else.”

Her journey – including the transformative experience of motherhood, often described as matrescence – has strengthened her desire to give back. Wag & Company’s mission to end loneliness for older dog lovers across the North East resonated deeply with her from the very first conversation. She quickly recognised how vital strong, sustainable digital systems are to the charity’s ability to serve its community, and she is passionate about helping build the digital foundations needed for Wag to thrive long into the future.
