Kaz and Friendship Dog Finn visit Mrs B near Morpeth

Mrs B, 74, and her husband are old friends of Wag. They live in Morpeth, and they have both had significant health challenges over the last few years. This has resulted in them no longer being able to have a dog of their own any more, having always had one, and also spending more time inside than they have before.

For a number of years, they loved having Wag Team Maureen and FD Bonnie in their lives, and it was a big change when they moved away at the same time as Mr B moved into a residential care home. Thankfully, we already have a team visiting the care home, so Mr B had new friends almost immediately, and we were delighted to very quickly match a new team, Kaz and lovely Finn, to Mrs B at home.

Mrs B loves their company, and now that Mrs B is walking more, they often go out for a cuppa and a change of scene locally and even further afield. Finn is delighted that Mrs B is throwing the ball again, of course, as well as showering him with love and treats!

Lovely to see a very special relationship making a difference at a particularly difficult time.
