Kate Myers
Senior Visiting Advisor
Kate works with the team supporting volunteers and our older friends in all aspects of our visiting service.
Kate will also be supporting our volunteer led events, including Press Paws with Wag sessions for Corporates, working closely with the Community Ambassadors and other volunteers.
Kate is ‘mum’ to Dachshunds “Peach” and “Rhubarb” as well as to little Declan who has two legs (!). Kate loves getting to know people and hearing their stories and is delighted to be a key part of helping older dog lovers in our North East communities to have special friends again.
Kate joins us from Newcastle Building Society where she developed a strong background in Community and Customer Service and where building relationships and supporting people was key to the role.
