Louise McLellan

My name is Louise, and I am a professional dog trainer with over four years of experience. I founded K9 Konnections three years ago to help owners build strong, positive relationships with their dogs using force-free, emotion-focused methods. I believe that understanding a dog’s emotions is key to addressing the behaviours they exhibit, and I’m passionate about the transformations achieved through one-to-one sessions and group classes.

Beyond training, I am deeply committed to combating loneliness in older generations, particularly those grieving the loss of a beloved pet. In my role as an assessor for Wag & Company, I can help others create meaningful connections through friendship dogs. My own dog, Bronte, has been my companion on this journey for nearly two years, visiting individuals who deeply value her company. I love supporting others as they pursue this rewarding work, spreading comfort and connection to those who need it most.
