Susan Gilbert

I have worked with dogs since leaving school years ago and have always aspired to promote canine welfare and care and had a keen interest in dog training with over 30 years experience.

I am a gold level instructor with the Academy of Dog Training & Behaviourists and full member of the Guild of dog trainers. I have a diploma in Advanced Canine Psychology with the Animal Care College & a Holistic Health certificate with The British College of Canine studies. I am a registered microchip implanter, qualified Pet First Aider and a registered C-SQP, meaning I am able to advise and dispense certain veterinary products.

I set up Central Bark Day Care & Training centre in 2012.

In my spare time I volunteer for the German Shepherd Dog Rescue. I love spending time & training my young dog Bronn.  I also visit a local care home close to me with my dog  and can really see the benefit that it makes to the residents and so anything I can do to support that, I will.
