Tim Mallon

Finance Director & Treasurer

I am a chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser of over 30 years standing and have held senior roles in several accounting firms over the last twenty years; 3 times as partner and once as MD.  I have just started his own accounting and tax practice – Mallon:Tax.

I have advised a number of charities over the years particularly in tax matters and have helped to set up a couple of charities in the past. My direct charity involvement includes being Chair of the North East England branch of the Chartered Institute of Taxation for two years and a committee member of that body for around ten years and also sitting on a strategy committee for County Durham Community Foundation. In the past I have also been a School Governor and Chairman of the local Scout group!

My wife Liz and I have been married for 28 years and we have had dogs for most of that time. First a mixed breed dog called Rover (of course), then a German Shepherd called Pepper and currently a cockerpoo called Millie. Both Liz and I have had various health issues in the past and we well know the value that a dog can bring when you’re not feeling at your best.”
