Lovely Friendship Labrador Callie is a huge hit at the Akenside and Castleside Wards at the Campus for Ageing & Vitality in Newcastle. Callie has made a particularly special friend in Gay on the Akenside Ward. Gay loves Callie and really looks forward to seeing her every Monday. She’s a keen artist and until she met Callie she hadn’t asked for her watercolour pencils from home, but this week Gay was proudly waiting for Callie and Beth to show them her unique gift, Callie’s portrait! A really precious gift for sure.
