It costs £352 a year for each Visiting Wag Team. Your support provides special friends for older dog lovers in the community.
John Robson from Cramlington tells us why life is so much better with friends.
For fear of the most in need missing out, we never charge our elderly friends..
So we rely on everyone's help to provide older dog lovers with friends again; someone to chat to and someone furry to cuddle. We know it could so easily be one of us or one of our own family members.
There are so many ways you can help and there are lots of ideas provided here or you could think of your own.
Every contribution, of whatever size, is massively appreciated and carefully managed to make a difference.
Walk for Wag
(3km or 10km)
The 'Walk for Wag' at Kielder is our annual fundraising event which takes place every year in September.
Watch this space for our September 2021 date!
Two and four-legged friends welcome!
If you can’t make it to Kielder or you’d like to create your own fundraising dog walk, you can register and...Walk for Wag.. Anywhere you like..!
We realise that not everyone who wants to support us will be able to make it to Kielder in September to support us on the day, but no need to worry.
Now you can support us and raise money to help end loneliness by doing your own 10km (13,000 steps) or 3km (4,000 steps) walks any time and anywhere you like.
There are lots of easy ways you and your teams can support us and make a difference to the elderly in our community.
Help us end loneliness.
