Redcar

Miss S lives alone with support from family and carers. She’s managing worsening health issues which are hard to live with and as a huge dog lover, she also misses the company of a dog; her last dog was very much loved and his loss is still very painful for her.   Regular visits from Wag friends with two and with four legs will make such a difference to her life.

Mr E lives alone with support, he spends more time alone than he’d like and he still misses his much loved Jack Russell who died a few years ago now. He’d love regular visits from a Jack Russell size dog and having a fellow dog lover to chat to as well will be very welcome.

Stockton

Mrs H lost her husband a little while ago and she lives alone.  She’s always had dogs but for health reasons now it’s not possible to have a dog of her own. She absolutely loves dogs though and she really misses them so a regular chat and a cuppa with a fellow dog lover and a cuddle with their very special dog, will be very welcome.

Northumberland

Amble

Two separate, local, lady dog lovers, both widowed, spending lots of time on their own and both with health issues that mean they can no longer have their own dogs any more.  Importantly both would really love your company and regular cuddles with your special dogs.

Mrs J always had Spaniels and now she misses them terribly.

Mrs H used to breed Labradors so always had a dog in her life too and now it’s no longer possible new Wag friends with two and with four legs will be very important to the way she feels about life

Morpeth

Ms H lives alone and she’s become very isolated.  She always had dogs, mainly Border Collies and Jack Russells, the loss of her last dog is still very painful and she really misses having a four legged furry friend for company.

Tyne & Wear

Newcastle upon Tyne

Mrs J lives alone now after her husband died, and whilst she has great family support from her daughter nearby, she’s new to the area and she’s feeling quite isolated.  She always had dogs but after she lost her Labrador and her Chihuahua a while ago, she’s not been able to have another dog and she’s missed them terribly.

Mr B lives alone now after he lost his wife and he’s feeling quite isolated.  He’s always had dogs, his last dog passed away a year ago and his loss is still very painful for him. For health reasons though he can’t have a dog of his own anymore so having a special dog to visit – ideally a Staffie type dog – with a fellow dog lover for a regular chat over a cuppa will be very very welcome.

Wallsend

Mrs W lives alone now after her husband moved into care and because of her sight loss she’s understandably anxious about going out on her own and she’s become quite isolated.  She keeps herself busy at home though and in the past she also volunteered.  She absolutely adores dogs, her last dog was the Guide Dog she lost a little while ago, so she’s excited to be referred to Wag and friends with two and four legs will be just the tonic she needs!.

Whitley Bay

Mrs F is a widow living alone and whilst she has great family support from her son and daughter, she doesn’t have anyone else to talk to or to talk about, so she’s become very isolated and really needs some company.  She also misses the company of a dog, she Border Terriers in the past and having a small special dog to visit with a fellow dog lover for a regular chat over a cuppa will be a great morale boost.
