Visiting Wag Team Janet and Islay visit Mrs Sandra C in Stockton on Tees

Lovely Friendship Dog Islay has made a very special friend in Mrs Sandra C, who lives in her own home in Stockton on Tees.

Sandra always had dogs, but she can’t have one of her own anymore, and she misses them dreadfully, telling everyone how much she enjoyed the company of dogs and what joy they always brought her.

Sandra has a very supportive family, but she spends more time alone than she’d like, so she was really looking forward to regular visits from a special dog.

Enter the perfect match… our special girl, Islay!

Having weekly visits from little Islay has brought her lots of pleasure, and as you can see, they both enjoy sharing the chair! For her part, Islay’s very happy to swap cuddles (for treats, of course).

Sandra’s daughter, Gina, recently told us how much her Mam loves the visits and how lovely Janet is! We’re so pleased to see more Wag friends making such a difference.
