Visiting Wag Team Louise and Bronte visit Mrs Sylvia A in Durham

Mrs Sylvia A was referred to Wag when her son, Chris, contacted us to ask about visits for his Mum. Mrs A had always had dogs, but due to health problems, she’s unable to manage a dog of her own any more.

She has lived alone since her husband sadly passed away two years ago, and despite a very supportive family, she loves to have a chat and she spends more time alone than she’d like. Sylvia’s daughter, Michelle, met Bronte and Louise on their very first visit, and she told us: “The visit was really lovely. Mum was very chatty and comfortable, and Louise was a great match for Mum. What a lovely idea Wag is and what a great job you have done helping my Mum”.

Everyone is still really enjoying the regular visits, Sylvia doesn’t always recognise Louise, but she definitely knows Bronte when she sees her.
Another very special Wag friendship making a difference.
