A Wag-tastic time was had at the Wear Referrals Open Day
Wag & Company were delighted to be invited along to be part of the Wear Referrals Open Day event, held Saturday 11th June at their site in Bradbury, County Durham.
Some of our wonderful Visiting Wag Teams attended the day with our Wag stand, meeting members of the community and veterinary staff in attendance and telling them all about our work to end loneliness for older dog lovers. It was so lovely to be out at events like this, showcasing Wag’s passionate volunteers and their special dogs creating life changing friendships.

Wear Referrals, a veterinary referral small animal hospital, are a Corporate Friend of Wag; one of our amazing corporate supporters who are donating and fundraising to make positive change for older dog lovers in their community. Suzanne Pickering, Client Care Manager at Wear Referrals, shared: “We had a fantastic day at our Open day. Thank you to everyone that joined us! We had a great day showing visitors around the hospital. Guests on the day got the chance to learn about pet first aid and enjoyed pizza and ice cream. A big thank you to our special guests from Wag & Co, a vital charity close to our hearts. We really enjoyed meeting some of the team and we look forward to attending the Walk for Wag at Kielder in September. “
