Announcing new Corporate Friend of Wag! Drum roll…

The Apartment Group is a Newcastle based company owning a string of unique Newcastle City bars as well as a number of luxury North East hotels and wedding venues including Newton Hall, Le Petit Chateau, Runa Farm, and most latterly Whitworth Hall & Deer Park.

Owner Duncan Fisher is a massive dog lover, here he is with his lovely Hungarian Vizla, Rudy, and not only have they selected Wag for support, but Duncan and Rudy have become a Visiting Wag Team, and in whatever spare time he has they will be visiting a care home for Wag in Alnwick!!

Such huge gifts not only for Wag but for older dog lovers in Alnwick!

Duncan told us:  “I believe that what you are offering is an exceptional and very much under-valued service and I hope by joining your team that your reach will continue to spread.”

The Apartment Group’s donation of £5,000 is the beginning of their relationship with Wag and enables 12 volunteers to visit older people in our region for over a year making 372 visits to people in their own homes on a 1:1 basis or 3,348 friends visits in care or hospitals.
